President-Elect Biden MUST keep all of his campaign promises about public education?
During the campaign, Joe Biden made clear commitments to support community public schools. He promised transparency and accountability for privately managed charter schools, as well as a ban on federal funding for charters operated for profit. He also unequivocally took a stand against standardized testing in a public meeting with hundreds of educators in Pittsburgh. NPE board member Denisha Jones asked him at that time if he would commit to ending standardized testing in the schools. He unequivocally said yes.
The Network for Public Education, joined by dozens of other groups, calls on President-Elect Biden to keep his promises.

Lloyd, We will see if Biden keeps his promises. I didn’t realize he promised to do away with standardized testing. I also like his pledge to not federally fund charter schools that operate for profit. These are two bold promises. Only time will tell. Neil

Every campaign promise by any politician running for office must be taken with a grain of salt since there isn’t one elected position in the United States where an individual has the power to do whatever he or she wants.
As Trump, a president that acted like he was a dictator with total power, found out the hard way, every executive order he signed to get something he wanted to be done that Congress would not do was also subject to challenges in Congress and the courts.
“Trump has the worst record at the Supreme Court of any modern president
The court has shown less deference to presidents in recent years. Even so, Trump stands out.”

Biden will also be challenged in the courts and if the GOP keeps control of the Senate, MMM (Moscow Mitch McConnel the bastard-bitch of Kentucky) will block Biden at every turn just like he did to Obama while the conspiracy theory supporting conservative media (FOX, OAN, Sinclair) puts the blame for those failures on Biden and never explains why Biden failed, because of the triple threat of MMM.
