“But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” – 1 Timothy 6:9 7 6:10, Bible.

Why are the billionaires eager to oust Judge Madsen? She wrote the 6-3 decision in 2015 that declared that charter schools are not public schools under the Washington state constitution and are not eligible to receive public funding devoted solely to democratically governed public schools. All the better to segregate classes as well as minorities. And, in comes Betsy DeVos ….

Presidential appointments require Senate approval. We will have to wait to see if the GOP can marshal enough votes to confirm DeVos. If the Democrats stand united against her, all it will take is a few Republicans to join them to stop her appointment from going through.
